Struggling With Limits….

Well, I got hired on September 24th 2014, and I wanted to quit every day for probably about a month or more….now I am learning my limits, and that I am no longer a spring chicken, and also that the more you do, the more they push on you, and expect from you, I always gave 110% when it comes to work, I still do, but I have to learn to take more time so I’m not doing everyone else’s job too, for min. Wage? It’s totally not worth it. I walk now between 4 and 7 miles a night in that small store, which blows my mind. My favorite part is helping the customers, my LEAST favorite part? Cleaning the bathrooms, and they ARE public! I don’t get to draw as much,or make the things I used to, I try to squeeze Art in as often as possible!
I will receive my copies of the two books my art is published in soon! And since I am working I can pay the fee to get my Art into the local Art Gallery! Maybe I will make some real money with my art now! I am definitely starting to feel more confident!
I will try to post a bit more often now that I have settled into working again, it took longer than I thought it would, having health issues does not help matters either, but I never use it as an excuse, in fact, they have called me in on several occasions and I have went in on my off days.
One of the hardest things to accept, is the criticism and schooling, I know I have to learn, but sometimes it’s done in a way that seems rather harsh. One thing is for certain though, I rarely forget THOSE lessons.
I hope this Post finds everyone well and able! Have a Great Night!
